Privacy Policy
Snagga is built to keep your data yours. Here's what we do — and don't — collect.

Template notice: This policy describes a privacy-first, minimal-data approach and is not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified solicitor and confirmed against how the app actually works before publishing.
1. Who we are
Snagga ("we", "us", "our") makes a snagging and site-inspection app for construction teams. We've built it to be privacy-first: we don't track you, we don't sell data, and your project data stays under your control. SNAGGAAPP LTD (a company registered in Scotland, company number 894256) is the data controller for the limited information described below. You can reach us at support@snagga.app.
2. The short version
- We don't gather personal information about you to profile, advertise to, or sell.
- Your snags, photos, notes and project data live on your device and, if you choose to sync, in your own cloud storage — not on Snagga's servers.
- We use no advertising or third-party tracking in the app or on this website.
- Purchases are handled by the App Store and Google Play — we never see your card details.
3. Your snags, photos & projects
The content you create in Snagga — snags, photos, notes, floor plans and project details — is stored on your device. If you choose to sync or share it, it is saved to your own connected cloud storage (for example your Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive), which you control. We do not hold this content on our own servers and we do not access it. You can delete it at any time from your device or your cloud provider.
4. Sign-in & cloud storage
The free Snagga app does not require an account. If you connect a cloud provider to sync data or receive snags, you sign in with that provider directly. We only use the access you grant to store your data in your chosen account — we never receive your cloud password, and we don't read the rest of your drive. You can disconnect at any time from your provider's settings.
5. Purchases
Snagga Projects (a one-off purchase) and Snagga Management (a subscription) are sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Those stores process the payment and manage the subscription; we receive only confirmation that a purchase is active. We do not see or store your card or bank details.
6. When you contact us
If you email support@snagga.app, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply and to help you, and we keep it no longer than necessary.
7. Website & cookies
This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. It stores a single preference — your light/dark theme choice — in your browser's local storage, which never leaves your device. If we ever add privacy-friendly analytics, we'll update this policy first.
8. Your rights
Even though we hold very little about you, your UK GDPR rights — to access, correct, delete, or object to the use of any personal data we do hold — still apply. Email support@snagga.app and we'll help. For content stored in your own cloud, you control it directly through that provider. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
9. Changes to this policy
If our data practices change — for example when we add new features — we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
